Virtual Trade Talk Lunch & Learn – How and When to Utilize the Department of Commerce’s Advocacy Center

July 12th, noon to 1pm EST

Please join the U.S. Commercial Service – Cleveland’s quarterly ‘Virtual Trade Talk Lunch & Learn’ webinar on how U.S. exporters can engage with the Department of Commerce’s Advocacy Center to win international government contracts! Shari Stout, Regional Manager for Middle East-Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Asia-Japan, Philippines, in The Advocacy Center will provide a briefing on the Center. The Advocacy Center helped U.S. companies secure $16 billion in international government contracts last fiscal year! This session will cover the Advocacy approval process, crafting a strategy & coordinating with the USG, as well as case studies and success stories. The presentation will include a 20-30 minute briefing, with plenty of time for Q&A!

The webinar is being organized by the U.S. Commercial Service, the export promotion arm of the U.S. federal government. If you are unfamiliar with the USCS Trade Talk Lunch and Learns™ series, we hold them quarterly. Each session brings experts directly to companies once a quarter. The virtual program focuses on different topics related to international trade and exports through an informal discussion and sharing of best practices and experiences. USCS Trade Talk Lunch and Learns™ are held from 12pm-1pm EST. Access information is provided the day before. For details, email todd.hiser@trade.gov or call 216-522-4750.
