The Indiana District Export Council and the U.S. Department of Commerce, in cooperation with the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, are pleased to announce our spring conference, ‘Doing Business with ASEAN’, on May 8, 2024, at Do it Best Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing and dynamic regions in the world. Leading this economic transformation is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which is an economic powerhouse of 10 nations comprised of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. With a population of over 650 million and a GDP of $3.8 trillion, ASEAN ranks as the world’s 5th largest economy. The U.S. exported $107 billion dollars to ASEAN in 2023 and Indiana’s exports to the region are up 52%.
