Understanding International Regulatory Pathways for Med Tech Exporters
FDA Imports will provide a broad overview of the main regulatory pathways available in the European Union (“EU”), Healthcare Canada, Australia, and Israel. The presentation will discuss strategic planning for premarketing and post-marketing activities for medical products in these three markets. Specifically, similarities and differences that characterize pharmaceutical and medical device regulation by the European Medicines Agency in the EU, Health Canada, Australian, and Israeli regulatory authorities will be covered. An overview of the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) regulatory requirements for exporting medical products from the United States to other countries will be covered.
