About the trade topics roundtable: Join the U.S. Commercial Service Cincinnati, the Southern Ohio District Export Council and Congressman Steve Chabot (OH-01) on Friday, May 6, 2022 to hear updates on trade-related issues for U.S. exporters. Participants will also have a chance to discuss their latest experiences and challenges with international trade.

Topics will include, but not be limited to:

  • U.S. participation in Free Trade Agreements and multilateral institutions (e.g., the WTO)
  • The impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on the future of international trade;
  • The impact of U.S. sanctions on Russia for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)
  • Policies for supply chains, reshoring and impact on manufacturing in the U.S.
