Virtual Connections: Eurasia – Exporting US Agribusiness Water Solutions presented by the US Commercial Service Agribusiness Team
Virtual Connections: Eurasia is a unique B2B matchmaking program designed to introduce U.S. agribusiness and water technology companies to business opportunities in the Eurasian region. Eligible U.S. companies are water solution providers and companies involved in irrigation, water conservation, filtration, purification, de-salination, software, sensors, localized energy sources to run irrigation, and related sectors. This two-part program is designed to give you the resources you need to start doing business in the region and then introduce you to key players and buyers.
Information Session: Get ready to do business in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan
This session will provide a market overview on each of the countries above led by U.S. diplomats and local industry experts. Opportunities for U.S. water solution/agribusiness companies in each market will also be presented.
• Azerbaijan is a promising market for companies specializing in water efficient irrigation systems, water resource assessment technology, sub-artesian and artesian well development, groundwater solutions, irrigation canal optimization, waste treatment, collector-drainage water management, and desalinization.
• Turkmenistan has critical irrigation needs for dredging equipment for their aging canals, as well as, solutions for the cotton and wheat sectors.
• Uzbekistan is launching countrywide reforms to modernize its agriculture sector. Water efficiency, drip irrigation, de-salinization, and usage monitoring technologies will all be needed to achieve the government’s goals.

Matchmaking Sessions: Connect with buying opportunities in the global marketplace
Companies interested in connecting directly with in or more buyers will have the opportunity to sign up for additional matchmaking sessions
The link to apply for matchmaking will be sent out immediately following the information session. The application is free, and companies will be vetted for fit. Approved companies will receive a participation agreement and then choose their meeting time and platform. The matchmaking sessions will be accompanied by local U.S. trade specialists who will guide you through the next steps so that you can make the sale.
