Trade Talk Lunch & Learn – CE Mark: Passport to Selling in Europe
December 8, 2022 | noon to 1:30pm EDT | Virtual
Products entering the EU must meet health, safety, and in some cases environmental requirements outlined in the CE mark directive applicable to that product in order for a manufacturer to affix the CE mark to its goods. This webinar will address this directive as well as address the main product groups affected by CE mark requirements. In addition, due to Brexit, US exporters of CE mark products will have to mark their products going to the UK with the UKCA mark starting January 1, 2023 in order to gain access to the UK market.
The webinar is being organized by the U.S. Commercial Service, the export promotion arm of the U.S. federal government. If you are unfamiliar with the USCS Trade Talk Lunch and Learns™ series, we hold them quarterly. Each session brings experts directly to companies once a quarter. The virtual program focuses on different topics related to international trade and exports through an informal discussion and sharing of best practices and experiences. USCS Trade Talk Lunch and Learns™ are held from 12pm-1pm EST. Access information is provided the day before.
